G. de Soete Thesis Award

Today, Kanika SOOD was awarded by the French Section of the Combustion Institute

Kanika SOOD completed her doctoral research under the supervision of Luc-Sy Tran and Laurent Gasnot.

She defended her thesis on December 19, 2023, and her manuscript is titled “Combustion of new biofuels: study of the formation of Oxygenated Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (OPAHs) and small soot particles (<10 nm).”

She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at LRGP.
