Air quality: measurements and modeling

The aim of the group "Air quality : measurements and modeling" is the study of atmospheric (indoor and outdoor) chemistry through a twofold approach: experimental development and the use of many methods to quantify the key molecular  species in the atmosphere, but also the modeling of atmospheric reactivity. A focus is made on the relationships between observed concentrations and the pollutants sources and sinks, but also on the different factors than drive the pollution peaks, in particular the meteorological conditions. The impact of air quality on health and climate is also investigated.

Our actions are supported by the CLIMIBIO program.
